Bought a “large” shirt with the newer Monk logo as a Father’s Day present for one of my kids to give me. And guess what, I’m also 5’9” and weigh 172 lbs., like the other reviewer. The shirt is TOO SMALL, fits like a medium, tight all over, and not even close to a size large. Can’t return it given store policy, so it will be a present for someone else. VERY DISAPPOINTING. BEWARE!!

Not the softest, but great color and good fit. I'm male, about 5'9" and 175lbs. Large fit pretty well.
